This is a common question we receive so here is a small walk thru to help guide those in downloading their images. This walk thru applies to races that provide sponsorship of the race photos to their participants. Photos are paid for by a sponsor or by the event themselves allowing us to make the images available to you, the participant.
There are a couple of ways to get to the photos, but ultimately downloading is the same for both approaches. First is via the email you received with thumbnails of your photos. Clicking on an image takes you to your individual gallery with all the photos we identified of yours. Once displayed, select a photo you are interested in downloading.
With the image selected now opened in a new page, look for the DOWNLOAD ICON at the top of the photo. Move your cursor to the icon and click on it once.
A drop down menu will appear containing file size options to download. Select the size you would like, and your choice will begin downloading to your device. Look in your devices DOWNLOADS folder to find your photo.
The second process is thru the Event Gallery main page. The link for this is at the bottom of the event photo invite email you receive from us, and on the race's website. Once the page is displayed, either enter your Bib number in the search field to display all the photos we were able to identify of you, or just select a Gallery from below to browse thru for photos
Either process will allow you to ultimately select photos you wish to download. From here, just follow the steps mentioned above.
Enjoy your race photos!

There is a much more interesting story here, but I will save for another more thorough post on this soon.
Do to my injury, I was unable to attend the Pacific Coast Triathlon the next day obviously and was not discharged from the hospital until Monday, September 19 in the evening.
After coming home & settling in for what will be a long recovery, I struggled getting this event processed in a timely manner due to the pain & discomfort I have been experiencing, and the drowziness due to the injury & meds. It didn't help that my taggers I hire took 3 days to tag 4000+ photos (something that they normally knock out in a few hours).
Just wanted to inform everyone regarding the delays in getting their photos out there. I work very hard both pre & post race to prevent delays but have found over the years that there is always something out of my control that interferes.
Thanks for you understanding and patience!

See you at the next event!
